Action Camera! 1080p 30FPS VS 60FPS ???? Is it worth me buying new sd card to unlock 60FPS!!??

My camera has a bad sd and don’t unlock the 60FPS option lol 

 

hkwever if I put in a better one it unlocks the 60FPS so is it actually worth it tho???? 

 

How much better is a 60 FPS than 30?

Wouldn't the fact that an SD card can record at 60fps... mean that the read/write of it are much higher? Meaning it would also be faster to read from it when transferring the file to a computer for editing?

 

That and the fact that you can reuse a fast SD card in smartphones that support it and use that as extra storage space.

If it’s side by side yea 

 

but it if I transfer it into my phone I can’t tell

60 FPS video is crisper and able to do slower motion than normal 30fps video.

 

You can also more likely freeze frame a shot without much blur on 60fps.

 

The downside is also half the light going toward exposure, so there is twice the ISO as the Iris cannot be opened up
