Goliath v3.1 [Updates]

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

Going to be redoing the computer this weekend. I plan to change the loop layout, swap the fluids around, and make some other minor changes. No new hardware will be going in for this round. I'd planned to hold off for a bit and maybe add in some new cards but after 9 months of working beautifully I had a tiny leak. Nothing was damaged and I quickly stopped it by pushing the tube a bit more into the fitting but I figure it's as good a time as any to at least redo some of the basics.

Below is the current Goliath 3.0 image and how things look today:

Where was the leak?

On the fitting going up to the top rad, part of the run coming from the CPU.

Dripped a couple drops onto the GPU backplate (yay backplates :D) but once I pushed the fitting up a bit it was all good. I probably had it cut a tad short and not all the o-rings were secured so with some vibrations over 9 or so months it must have loosened just enough.

Nice, glad that you had a lucky break with the leak not damaging anything.
