Thing hit PC so internet doesn't work

food158

Me casually using PC, which already has freezing issues that i put up with, when I knock a closed 1L water bottle onto my desktop. It falls to the floor, my audio buzzes for a second. All seems well with the exception of unconnected internet.

Weird

I do use Ethernet too.

I troubleshooted, turns out my network driver will not appear, even though it works working just a second ago.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers, but I get an error. Tried a network reset. Nope.

Out of ideas and it's ridiculous my internet got knocked out.

yeah those network adapters are suppose to be water bottle drop proof

short of checking the board for physical damage i'd say you physically damaged the network port by dropping things onto the machine

Is it a laptop? If so the network card inside might have come loose.

Yeah, I'm trying to do that at the moment.
