Question about KVM Switch

Dujinni

Hi,

I have a personal/gaming PC rig and a work laptop. I work from home quite frequently so I want to create an efficient setup. My goal is to have four monitors and use a KVM switch for two of the monitors, mouse, keyboard, and possibly audio/mic as well.

After doing some research my plan is to have two higher quality monitors (1440p/144hz) directly attached to my gaming PC, and two 1080p monitors attached to the KVM switch.

My question:

When I'm not working and switch the two 1080p monitors to my gaming PC will they play nice and work seamlessly with the other two higher quality monitors directly attached to my gaming PC for a 4 monitor setup?

Also if anyone has experience with KVM switches, could you possibly recommend one that would fit my needs?

Or if anyone has been in this situation and can offer some advice for an efficient setup, I'm all ears.

Thank you
