G sync confuses

The F... out of me ... when I turn off v sync in NCP & IN game .. I get stutters in some games .. when I turn on v sync in NCP & off in game I get really smooth gameplay .. I’ve done research & people say different things what really is the way g sync is supposed to b set up?

GSync ideally should would alongside Triple Buffered VSync.

 

If you render more frames than your monitor support as refresh rate you lose G-Sync (which only works when you dip your fps from the native refresh rate.

 

VSync Triple Buffered helps keeping all smooth and not allows fps go above refresh rate.

 

If you'll play a competitive shooter like CS:GO where you want as many fps as possible then you use FastSync instead.

What about single player games ? Which is the main games i play?

You make sure Gsync is fully on and always go for Vsync too, if you can always pick triple buffered, trying to force it through nvidia control instead of using built in game option is valid too.

 

Then make sure not to waste your GPU potential if it's not at 90% with VSync on just keep turning settings up hehe
