College Kid Looking For A Laptop

Hello everybody, im at it again looking for a laptop. This time I know pretty much exactly what I want, I just need help finding it.

 

I need:

 

At least 2 TB3 Ports (True TB3, PCI-E 3.0 X4 bandwidth)

4 Cores

16GB RAM

6 Hours + Battery life

512GB Storage (minimum)

 

Would like it to be an ultrabook for portabilities sake, but this is more of a want. Also, 1st party docks would be nice, but this is a want and would not make or break a device. Budget is not set in stone, but somewhere around 1k USD.

 

I am not OS specific. If the answer ends up being Macbook Pro I will simply Bootcamp when at my desk.

I'm only recommending the MacBook Pro because of your Thunderbolt requirements. 2018 MacBook Pros have 2 TB3 controllers so you'll have a port on either side that will give you the full 4x PCIe bandwidth. 

 

But with the budget, that I didn't notice until just now....maybe don't get a Mac.

Unfortunately, that is above my price range unless I find a manufacturer refurbished unit. I was actually just looking to see if there were any available. Thank you!
