Any recommendations on a good IPS 1440p 144hz Monitor at a decent price? I plan on running it with a 2080.

You didn't do anything wrong. @Stormseeker9 is incorrect. There is a radio button to buy a used model on the page but you linked to the listing for a brand new one.

 

And that is a good display, I used to own one myself, the only downfall of it is that the FreeSync range tops out at 90hz unless you fiddle with CRU.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
