Monitor image going up and down screen

Ok. So I just got a monitor from a friend and the image goes up and down the screen. If I change the resolution it stops doing it for about five seconds but then starts doing it again. I think your getting tearing.... on the desktop... I don't know if I'm right, nor do I know how to fix it, but someone else will I bet!

 

 

Btw, have you updated your drivers recently?

I hope that's all and hope its fixable.

That's something I'd normally see when overclocking a monitor... maybe the board is unstable.

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory
