That should be the color, so WH1000M3B is the black colored one.

If you want the white one those should end with S for silver.

 Hello! I was in the market these days to buy the WH1000M3 headphones but my local retailers only have the ones with a B on the end, and I was wondering what's the difference between the two. I tried looking around the product page and Sony's website but I didn't find an answer. If anyone here knows the answer and could share it with us that would be extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance!
