New build turns on but no image !

Hi 

 

I have finished my new build however I am getting no image on the monitor. Everything is spinning and all lights are showing on everything, my ram is seated in the second and  to last slot of the motherboard I’m guessing this is ok? I first tried the display port on the gpu and then switched to the hdmi on the motherboard but nothing changed.

 

my specs are

 

i7 9700k

32gb 3000mhz Corsair rgb

kraken 62

aorus WiFi pro z390 motherboard

rm Corsair 750x

rtx 2080 ASU’s Strix.

 

any help is greatly appreciated

Do you know if that monitor works?

Make sure everything is plugged in. I had an issue where ram was not plugged in all the way and then had a friend where his SATA cable was not plugged in all the way and there was no image. Try that. Even if it part does not seem that important for the image make sure everything is tight anyway.

It’s a brand new monitor it’s not saying there’s no signal on the monitor.

It could be the monitor. Do you have anything to test it? Whether it be an old computer, laptop, gameconsole, anything really.

Just reseated my gpu and ram now have signal  thanks for the help
