I can not understand this for the life of me. Please help

Light-Yagami

Hello everyone,

To keep it short.

I have 2 displays. One is 1080 144hz (set as main) and one is 1440p 60hz (set as secondary - or an extension of the primary) Watching YouTube in Chrome browser on a 1080p one is okay. Now my Problem is with the 10s skip and 5s skip that you can do. My Ethernet speed loads in excess of 3 minutes ahead, allowing me to insta-skip quite a bit. And it works great on the 1080p monitor. BUT, it takes AGES to achieve the same thing on the 1440p monitor. Pressing "L" to skip 10s on a 1080p monitor is instant, while it usually takes like.. 3-5 seconds to do on a 1440p one. WHY does this happen?

Please somebody help me. I know my PC stuff, but I'm completely lost here.

What about connection type?

And I assume this is happening with the same quality level?

Does it happen with other browsers?

If not, only thing I can think of is that some super weird bug is happening on the driver and/or OS level.

Have you DDU'd the driver?

I've noticed system giving resource priority to the main display. Driver is just freshly installed.

Edge browser seems to handle it pretty well, but I'm not using it to avoid this.

Videos would also skip and stutter on the 1440p monitor, when another is running on the 1080p one at the same time. It's super weird.
