So this is my first build so bare with me.

I have a z370p d3 motherboard with a rtx 2080 6g, i7, 850w power supply, 32g ddr4 ram. The problem is that when I boot my motherboard with the GPU it does not give me an htmi output but it does give me an output for all the usbs and such but without it it does. I looked around and it is compatible. I think I should get the driver for the GPU and would that fix it I don't want to mess up my PC.

hm... but does it work on integrated graphics?

Can you post pics of your setup? inside and out, where the i/o is. ATM there's not much info to go on... did you install windows etc yet, or do you mean this is your first bootup and can't see anything on the display? if the latter, check your cables and monitor are in the correct place, and output from the GPU.

Yes I did install Windows, when the GPU was in there there was a no signal on the monitor.

But without it works just fine. Btw idk what integrated graphics are sorry I'm a noob

You don't have your display plugged in.

The reason it was unplugged is bc is was trying to show I/o

LOL, sorry but no good showing i/o without stuff plugged in, as that's what I was wanting the pictures for, so if I could see stuff wasn't in correct ports etc.

Ok @paddy-stone , I still need help figuring out y PC will not post with my GPU. I got a heart attack earlier today bc I disabled interal graphics in the BIOS and tried putting in my GPU it still wouldn't work so I took it out and it would not show anything on the monitor I freaked out and had to cmos clear on the motherboard lol
