Laptop being Ridiculous

Go to solution Solved by ttam,

Check out my malware guide, it wouldn't hurt. Could have picked up something.

Clean up the system startup, just make sure everything is off that should be.

Give firefox a reset, something might have borked itself up

So i got a Lenovo T61 6457-4uu with 1gb ram and a core 2 duo t7300.

Everything used to be fine and dandy, until yesterday. Up until yesterday i could play SW battlefront 2 no problem. But now it can't get on firefox with out having to wait 10 minutes. Task manager says I'm only using about 50% cpu power with a couple firefox tabs, foobar, and utorrent running. Help me please

well dat 1gb ram doe.

Unless you're running windows xp, windows 7 will be taking up around 90% of your ram, leaving your computer to resort to virtual ram, and making it sluggish.
