Which PSU for OC & SLI system?

Gerr

My current system has a 7700K OC'ed to 5.0Ghz with an OC'ed GTX 1080.  My PSU is a 3 year old Season G-750W and has been running just fine.  Recently I bought a pair of GTX 1070 Ti's that I plan on using in SLI and OC'ing as well.  Most PSU calculators place my total usage at 700W-750W.  I don't have the funds for a new PSU, but I recently got a used EVGA G2 750W in a trade and the owner says it was used for less than a year and not heavily.  However, I have no way to verify what he said.

My question is which PSU would you recommend I use:

3 year old Seasonic G-750 PSU originally bought new by me with average gaming use.

1 year old EVGA G2 750W PSU bought used and claimed light use.

Most PSU calculators

Are totally inaccurate. A 1070 ti will not draw over 250 watts, so at the absolute max you're at 500 watts with the cards, and the CPU will doubtfully reach 200 watts, I think your current PSU is fine

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Ähm, you already have a PSU, why not test it?

For SLI/CF you absolutely NEED some kind of Power measuring device to see if CF/SLI is active or not.

I’d just use the current one. Unless it can’t support the connections. I’d do 750 at a minimum as I hate hearing the psu fans struggle. But if you’re on air, i doubt you’ll notice.
