2 Same Displays With Different Polarization

Windarrow

I just discovered, that my 2 same displays have different polarization filtering, when I'm looking with sunglasses. Weirdly enough, I do remember that not being a case previously..

Is this normal behavior or may this cause some side effects?

Side note, my display ports seem to have died on right monitor as well.

Monitor: Dell U2414H

I know this is an old thread but has anyone figureed this out yet? This happed by accident and I totally recreated this "issue". I have identical monitors (DELL U2415) with the same calibration and settings but the porarized sunglasses seem to only affect the Left monitor.

Graphics Card: ASUS TUF GAMING GEFORCE GTX 1660 TI 6GB

Monitors are connected using DisplayPort cable and daisy chaining to the second monitor.

All it means is one of the panels had the polarizing layer put on the other way up. Turn ur glasses upside down,
