DIY beefy PC jitters and lags since day 1 - Why?

Sometimes it'll stutter, sometimes Windows Explorer just goes to 0.25x speed and needs time to think (even right-click sometimes), changing wallpapers takes ages, games seem sluggish (eg, FH4 control response lag), and generally using the PC in day-to-day tasks it just doesn't feel quite like a pretty damn high-performance machine.

I really don't know what's going on. I hope this can be fixed.

a dumb question, is win OS installed on ssd?

Yeah, on the SSD. It's my only drive at the moment.

Just installed it. Apparently, it runs automatically. Here's a screenshot.

powershell or command prompt run as admin sfc /scannow.

If everything is good, reinstall nvidia drivers.

if it is still occuring look on gigabytes website for and updated bios. ( you'll have to re-enable any overclocks or memory profiles after)

Still a problem? re-install windows. It's a bummer but it can fix weird errors you can't find the cause.

If that still doesn't fix it, look in event viewer, reproduce the lag, look under system see if it's throwing errors. that can point to GPU or CPU, then go through the warranty process for whichever it is.

Edit: 2.7GB free? if you have something you're ok with temporarily deleting see if it still occuring, might be a small pagefile or something going weird since you don't have much free space?

How did you install windows?

Were all drives other than the SSD unplugged?

Only had this SSD installed. Besides a HDD I had since my last build that didn't show up anywhere. Have since chucked that away because it's broken.
