Problem: TP-Link Archer T6e

vittokevin

I had no issues  with the wifi card before. The speed is great and signal strength is fine. But after i broke the antenna (the locking mechanism detached) the speed went down. I replaced the antenna with my spare router antenna (signal strength recovered) but the link speed went bad. It runs around 10 to 20 mbps in speed in control panel but in speedtest.net, less than 2mbps. (On my phone, our home wifi runs 40 mbps. ) The computer is connected to 5ghz network. It is very close to the access point (2 meters). I cant use lan cable because it is the whole apartment's wifi. It has no restrictions and no speed management or Qos. Router is in default.
