4k Screen to Pair with X34P

Hey guys. Recently got an X34P and I love it. Only issue is not having a secondary screen. I plan on having a 4k screen for media, browsing and eventually CAD as I progress through my engineering degree as I hear curved monitors arent the best for CAD.

Anyway to the point. What 4k monitors pair well with the x34p besides the 4k predator which is pricey due to the Gsync ect.

None really.

It is one of the many reasons I use two computers. One uses an Ultrawide and the other uses a 4k monitor.

My advice is to get one close to the same panel height. To match a 34" to 35" 3440 X 1440 that would be about 14". That makes a 27" monitor ideal. My two TN 4k monitor were 28" so they did not look that great.

Don't spend a lot on one. A 10 bit(8 bit + FRC) TN 60hz is fine for what you want it for and you can get them for under $300.

I used Samsung and ASUS. I found that they were good at 1440p as well. This is important for using programs that do not scale.
