Oculus Rift: Will GTX 1050Ti be enough for movie/netflix watching?

Do you guys think a 1050ti will be enough for watching movies with Oculus?

 

I have a "spare" HTPC that doesn't do much at the moment equipped with a 1050ti. I was thinking of moving it to my bed room and just hook up the rift to that one to watch movies/netflix in my bed. In my mind, it should be more than enough. But just wanna double check if anyone here has done this previously.

 

NOTE! I don't care about gaming; 1050ti is obviously not enough for that. I have my main rig with 1080ti for that task. All I care about here is for movie watching.

we all know what content you will be watching with it ?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

well it should work just fine, the 1050TI is more than capable of playing back video at that resolution so the extra VR bitts shouldnt be too hard
