Can i run a 20ft+ Cord from my TV to my Phone?

So i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, this means i can use Dex without the Dex. Basically i plan to run a 15ft hdmi cable from my TV that ill be mounting on the wall, to the side of my bed. from there ill put on a female to female HDMI adapter, and add in an HDMI to USB C Cord. This will allow me to use Dex on my TV From my Bed. Now my question, is would i be able to use a setup like this instead to Charge my phone at the same time as Using it as 

15FT HDMI Cable to Female to Female HDMI Adapter to HDMI to USB C Adapter, Then that into one End of an HDMI Splitter, while i put a 2A Usb C Charger in the other end of the splitter. Then Plug That Splitter into a Female to Female USB C Adapter to Usb C male to usb A Female, then to a usb a to usb C Cable.

 

I understand this is insanely complicated. essentially i want to plug my Phone into one cable by my bed that will charge my phone, while turning it into a Dex for my Wall Mounted TV. If there is a simpler way to do this, please let me know.

and yes, i understand i could just get a usb c female to usb c male cable to connect the splitter to my phone but i want the 6ft of slack available incase im sitting beside my bed in a chair or what ever. by doing it this way it gives me over 6ft of slack before i even get to the splitter. I think that should work more or less ok. Maybe some lag to the tv but it should be negligible. I've similar parts separately and it seems to work fine.

Post back after with a review.

I do think the adapters may end up being a bottle neck if you just use type c, try for thunderbolt if possible.

i guess i could do a review of the entire TV setup once im done, so ill do that. as long as its not going to short the TV or anything by sending the power from the charger to the TV instead of my phone, then Great. ill order everything Soon.

wikipedia says the maximum length for hdmi is 13m. I have a first gen chrome cast. It works great for screen casting and videos/youtube. I dont know how much all the gear you want costs, but a first gen chrome cast should be cheap second hand or brand new

i have a 1st gen (i think) Chromecast. But that is not what i want. i want my Phone to work as a Computer, while using the TV as a Monitor. not a Cast of the Phones screen on the TV.

ive never used dex. Can you trigger it into dex by plugging something into the USB then cast the screen?

yes, you can use a USB C to HDMI Adapter, and it will pop up on the phone asking if you want to cast as a Computer to your Display. This only works on the Note 9, not the note 8, as that requires a DEX Dock.
