I'd go with a cheaper SSD>  While I obviously love Samsung SSDs, they went back up in price and I'd skip them for now.

 

Also, don't you have $150 for keyboard and mouse?  $1500 - $1350 = $150?

In a gaming oriented PC Ryzen is just plain slower, so it doesn't make as much sense.

Hopefully it changes with ZEN 2, but we have to wait for that.

Changed the psu to something a lot better. Also changed the cpu to save some money, and the gpu. Both the 2600 and vega 64 are very close in performance to the 9600k and 2070 so you're not losing too much really. I also upgraded the case a little bit.

 

This gives you loads to spare for a keyboard and mouse. These two are just examples of what you could get, they are both solid, reliable and fairly cheap.

I'm just kind of curious as to why people keep pairing i5's with z390s. I paired my 8700k with a z370 and have never had any issues.

Because 9000 series need newer motherboards that have the propper BIOS revision
