Is WQHD same as QHD?

They're exactly the same.

Sometimes I see online shopping product description of monitor says WQHD and sometimes QHD. Is it the same thing? I only know both are 1440p. Or is it?

I thought that WQHD was ultrawide's 3440x1440p variation while QHD was the more common 16:9 2560x1440p one... what a waste.
