720p TV Streaming Output is horrible.. Help!

K i a r a

Hey

So, I have a question I have a 42inch Ruku Smart TV, its output is 720p.. So watching Movies and playing video games is fine, But I use my Chrome Cast to say watch Twitch Streamers, some very popular ones like say Summit1G / TimTheTatMan when I have it casting to my TV its ALMOST unbearable to watch, its very pixelated I have tried to change the stream quality to 720p and its still pixelated... any words that come up on screen you can not read them AT ALL.
I tried to take a photo, but for some reason on the camera it comes up fine. Any idea why this happens?

- I have really good internet that's not the issue.

So your camera can read text but your eyes can't. I think i know what the problem is then but i'd ask your eye doctor just to be sure.

Because 4:2:0 chroma sampled 720p content doesn't scale well to what's presumably 1360x768 when sharp text is involved.

Or is there a different issue entirely that I'm not reading?

sorry i forgot I made this post, but i dont even know, Like on my Living room TV its liek a 60inch 1080p TV, and the video quality is perfect, but maybe my TV is just shit and yeah cant keep up or something, but its weird bc its not even that old.
