Assange arrested

How do you think the military industrial complex, which US politicians are huge fans of investing in, make their money? It isn't by not using their munitions, but by using them and then having the US government buy more from the tax dollars of the average non-politician US public.

So, yes, the US loves to fire off expensive munitions everywhere it can while not actually accomplishing anything. That's the goal of the military industrial complex and is why the US funds terrorists and protects them.

The only thing the military industrial complex and its investors love more than firing off expensive munitions without accomplishing anything is firing them off to steal other countries' oil.

Maybe. Iran would certainly have been far better off if the US hadn't overthrown its democratically-elected leader in 1953 to install a bloody dictator so that the US could steal Iran's oil.

Da fck? If war is so profitable, why aren't these politicians pushing for WWIII and nuking the soviets back when the cold war could be still be hot?

If us had not overthrow the iranian government I would bet all my fortune, the government would still fall into the control of radical Islam. These groups are too damn right powerful in the country.

They ARE pushing for WW3 and pushing for war with Russia, with Iran, with Venezuela, with anyone anywhere they can. They always are.

That's the primary driving force behind all the anti-Russia, anti-Iran, anti-Venezuela, anti-Syria, anti-Saddam, etc, news in the US.

People get filthy rich off of wars and killing people. That's what drives the US' foreign policy.

Those groups didn't exist until the US and UK overthrew Iran's government and installed a brutal and murderous dictator so that they could steal Iran's oil. The aggression Iran has towards the US is the direct result of the US' coup in Iran. Iran took back their country in 1979, and the US treats it like an attack on the US, when all Iran did was defeat the US' attack on Iran. Ever since then, Iran has been angry and aggressive towards the US, and has had to become more militaristic because the US keeps wanting to overthrow Iran's government again to install a US-puppet that will hand Iran's oil over to US companies.

The US is, like in many other situations, the bad guy in the Iran-US relations.

So, the US is responsible for WW2, the holocaust, all the main terrorist groups in the Middle East, the proliferation international terrorism, the disasters in the Middle East, Iran's harsh governance and bad relations with the US, and more. That's what the US' war-driven economy does. If not for the US, the world would be a far more peaceful place.

OMG!!!

You do know US foreign policy has been isolationism until it realizes that is only gonna make the world burn right? USA is a super power. It has a morale reason to intervene on the world stage. We do not call modern day lack of international wars pax Americana without a good reason.

I'm not sure that any of the US' interventions in other countries have been moral. They were all driven by greed and desire for power and control, and sold using lies.

Steal what oil? The Iranian monarchy  benefitted Iran handsomely. Within a decade, Iran was the wealthiest nation in the region. Only after sialmic revolution did we see sanctions that crippled the Iranian economy.
