Steelix Corsair 570X_build log

Mragsa

This is a personal project which I intend to use as a light gaming and working from home rig. The Project is heavily inspired by Justin "MetallicAcid" Ohlsen CRYSTAL 570X Mod (check it out if you haven't!!) and the courage/inspiration to take on this project is the result of watching many of my favorite youtuber like JayzTwoCents, linus tech tips and GN.

This is my first build with a costume lope. And I plan on focusing on a very clean looking tubing and a sleek industrial interior. This project is named Steelix as a homage to Luke by using a pokemon name for my personal rig.

This project will consist of the following hardware:

CPU: AMD 2600X

CPU cooler: Barrow

Motherboard: Asus Rog strixs B450-F

GPU: Msi Vega 56

GPU block : EK-FC Radeon Vega Rbg

PSU: Corsair RM750x 750w

SSD m.2: Samsung 970 Evo 250gb

SSD; Samsung 860 Evo 500gb

SSD: OCZ ARC100 240GB

RAM: HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200mhz

Chassis: Corsair Crystal 570X

Fans : 6* Corsair ML120 Pro RBG

Radiator: Alphacool NexXxos ST30 Full Copper 360

Fittings : Barrows

Tube: chromed copper pipe 12/10 mm

Pump: EK – Xtop revo D5 Pwm

The mods that will happen:

Modify the case to support a new mounting position for the radiator, and making a costume loop.

Disclaimers:

I now the build is not going to be optimal in case of thermals and performance.

Not everything is going to be perfect I won’t spend a lot of time on the part you won’t see, parts of the cable management for example

with that said let's start this build !20190409_182350.thumb.jpg.fa928aa738423c233e3d5aa1927793a2.jpg
