Guys don't forget that the banner/logo applicants are still open! There might even be a nifty prize to win! ;)

 

Looking forward to seeing everyone's designs!  

 

While I'm here and talking about the org page, I'd like to announce that we're going to be running a competition as of this post until (I'll edit that in when I've decided :P)

 

We need to get the org page completely revamped, with awesome graphics! 

 

There's 4 things we need to update and they're as follows;

 
Banner : 1140x380
Background : 1266x768
Logo : 175x175
Icon : 24x24
 
We need them to be fancy and sleek; we want to attract people on our own merit, not only just by shout-outs, because of this, we need to step up our presentation of the org. Right now we pale in comparison to may orgs out there, most notably Imperium, L.A.M.P. and the Black Widow Company.

So if you want to contribute and help us look the best we possibly can; post with your creations in seperate spoilers with the title of the spoiler being the name of the image (background, Banner, Logo, Icon) and other members can give their input towards it, not only this, but to help further entice you all, the winner will get their icon, logo, banner and background put forward to represent the org out there!
 
Lets get this done guys! And lets get our org looking positively spiffing! :D

@CatCloud Oh my, I just noticed the page count. Lack of activity makes sense though. I'm just wondering because LAMP has stagnated (which also makes sense), but I feel like I would connect a little better with this community. Certainly not leaving LAMP for a while though, praise be to the Lamp!

 

I just wish I could join >1 organization on the site. Supposedly I can join multiple in-game when it comes out. We shall see. I suppose I've got the LTT forums in the mean time. Way better than LAMP's guild forums.  ;)

Yeah i remember that Live stream, i didn't last 24 hours though so i missed some of it BUT i did se the holy Lamp thankfully!

Praise the LAMP!! but ill stick with this Guys :)

no really. I still have to wonder how the modification system works, also the mining outpost is epic, and I'm debating control surfaces :( so many unknowns.

Hey, I just sent my application and voted "exploration" on the poll (like everyone else :P) I'm wondering however what "engineering" entails exactly, can someone enlighten me?

 

Otherwise my ships are: Super Hornet, Constellation, 325a, and Freelancer

Yes it does seem like almost everyone is in exploration, I am really only going to be in there for the beginning when exploration really truly matters so we can get a decent foothold on some space. after that I think I will mix it up with some salvage or mining.

I feel the same way about exploration; be part of the first big wave that discover jump points and mining resources, then go and do something else when it becomes too "crowded". Although the expanding universe should fight that at least to an extent

 

I was thinking it would be loads of fun to put a group of people together whose role is to attack and board otherwise unobtainable alien ships, and bring them back intact for use/sale/salvaging. That or Escort/Mercenary missions

The devs confirmed that orgs could control factories, so engineering might have to do with that too.

I'm pretty sure in this thread somewhere (don't want to look for it) that the different sections were loosely defined and if I remember correctly engineering was going to involve crafting and manufacturing items.
