Hello, good evening.

I am putting some parts together for a computer build, and I am going to be using as my processor the future line of AMD's processors, so keep that in mind. The question I am having is whether or not I should add to my build list a DDR4 RAM Module having 4000Mhz of frequency with a CL19, or, a module with 3600Mhz CL17, or... 3200Mhz CL16. I am not going below that, so basically what I want to know is what is the best option due to the increase in the timings.

Thank you very much... And please, restrain from answering if you have any ignorance related to this subject.

Are you going to benefit from going above 3200?

Well, based upon how Ryzen processors benefit from faster RAM, yes.

You'll get negligible performance increase going 3200 and higher, its not worth the price unless you have a specific task that benefits a lot from it.
