These dumb monitors are literally just buying a tv sliced in half.

Far from "immersive" when you're looking at your game through a slit...

Buy Super Ultrawide monitors:
On Amazon: https://geni.us/ItvPYP

49" 32:9 super ultrawide monitors are meant to replace two or even three monitors...but when if you have 3 of them?

Why not make it 360 degrees all the way around? (Or 2π Radians if you are a nerd like me)

Input latency on most reasonably priced TVs is kinda bollocks though. And if I understood your sentiment correctly, that kinda suggests that whatever it is you're playing, doesn't have good native ultrawide support. But many games do.

Ever driven a car in RL? Your field of vision out of the car, is much more akin to ultrawide formats, than 16:9.

No it is not. Please do some research.

5 years ago the input lag was not good, modern tvs have no more input lag than a monitor.

The only exception is for high refreshrate stuff over 120Hz, which in that case you need a BFGD for.

Ever done anything in real life outside of a car?

Human vision is much more like 16:9 than 21:9.

I did something similar 2 summers ago, I had 5 monitors, 3 4k and 2 2k strung up in a line for 16000 ish pixels across.  In my experience you never used more than 3 of them at a time, and it was a real struggle moving the mouse from one edge to another. I think the minecraft screenshot was only on 3 of them, but I cant remember

Shoulda grabbed a Radeon VII PC, You can do pretty much whatever you want with eyefinity.

I was able to run the same 1080p display(using 3 of it's inputs) + 1 more 1080p display as 3 4K displays and make them a "triple/quad monitor" set up in software for fun screenshots.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Maybe neither software really likes doing it with 21:9 displays, especially mixed.
