Would this case break in the car?

I'm looking to get a portable LAN case, here is the one I was looking at ---> Masterbox Q300P , if anyone has any experience with this case please let me know if its prone to easy breaking of the panel in the car. Obviously i'd secure it in a suitcase and put clothes, etc.. as "protection". Also anyone with any ideas for a better case to bring to LAN's let me know.

MATX tempered glass case as a LAN PC? Big no-no.

 

Get an ITX case with no glass. Acrylic is fine, but glass, no.

Ultimate LAN case is Cooler Master 380t. No TG, but now is somewhat rare and expensive. If you're looking at Masterboxes, you probably may wince at the price... There are none on eBay ATM, but the last one I saw sold for $220.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

it's gigantic and weighs as much as a safe among LAN PCs... and while tempered glass wont break if you carefully manage it, it's hard to say how long can you stay cautious in the future. That's how people crack their phone screens don't they?

As pointed out Acrylic is more resilient in transportation, but will scratch significantly more easily. It's also as mentioned not the BEST Lan system, unless mATX is literally your only option.

There's a plethora of decent to excellent ITX cases ranging from moderately small, decently portable and easy to build in to shockingly small, extremely portable and a challenge to build in. 

 

I like the RVZ01/RVZ01-E/RVZ02/RVZ03, there's a new case from Dr. Zabre coming, the Dan Case A4-SFX is brilliant so is the Ncase M1. The NFC S4 is unbeatably small but will require an external power brick. The Streacom DA 2 is cute and small as well. Fractal Design has the Node 202 which is quite popular. The Silverstone ML08 is nice.
