980ti in a budget build

Semjon

Hi!

Im planning to build a bang for the buck system and i have an opportunity to get 980ti for cheap.

The question is, will 500w PSU be enough for it?

That's considering im taking something like ryzen 1600x as a CPU and don't use more than 1hdd + 1ssd.
Please help

Make and model of the PSU please, not just 80+ bronze

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I think 550W should be enough. Is a CX550 fine?

Make sure to quote people so they see your responses.

Also, those are awful. Got a budget?

Please don't.

I'd suggest cheapening out on something else a bit, and getting a Corsair CX550 or beQuiet! System Power 9 (E9 and B9 is fine).

To be honest, i just need something that will run my system and is not going to cost a lot.

I also know absolutely nothing about PSUs, so yeah, any help will be really appreciated.

prices vary wildly between countries, so i can name 20 units, but you can also check the list below, and select at least a budget/b tier unit at 500 watts or more

Do not cheap out on power.....it is a false economy. CX650 is about $48. It'll also give you a bit of headroom

2600x, MSi B450-Pro, Corsair H100i, 32GB Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 3200, Corsair RM1000x, aData X6000 1TB NVMe, Samsung 860 1TB, Seagate 3TB x 2, Palit 1080Ti GameRock Premium, Silverstone GD08 Case.

Im trying to make use of the tierlist but almost all budget options offer more power than i need.

Are there any specific recommendations?
