500-600€ for upgrading

Gnomo

1. Budget & Location

500-600€ Germany

2. Aim

Gaming like World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Undertale at FHD right now
Working: C# and Asp Net MVC Development with VS 2017 mainly, light video editing
Running 2-3 VMs for development purposes (like 3 Debian or 3 Win 10 atm ram usage ~15GB, CPU at 80%)

3. Monitors

I run a 1920x1080 24" right now, had 2 monitors running, sadly one died. Either will replace monitor now if you say there is no good upgrade on other components or will buy a 3440x1440p in summer.

4. Peripherals

Peripherals exist and don't need replacement and I have all licenses needed too.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Mainly because I have some spare money, I enjoy upgrading and the prices seem nice atm. The hdd makes noises and gets really slow, so a 7.200 was my idea. And since I am starting to shop anyway, I thought why no ask if there are other replacements worth the money.
The gpu is way more than needed, I barely can make 40% gpu usage, so I think there is no reason to change it.

my build right now that you helped me with 3 years ago.

Your PC is still really quite good, I think I'd consider getting a nice big SSD and maybe some more RAM? But other that you're fine really

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

Wait for Zen 2. Then get yourself a top of the line CPU upgrade. (12-16 cores)

That will be the best course of action.

You should keep saving money and wait for Zen 2 release in a few months.

If you thinking of ryzen wait for zen2. If not 6700 is a great cpu. Just upgrade your GPU.

Your current set up looks more than capable, like the others say it might be good to wait for Zen 2. However, if youre expecting to have a windfall again by the end of the summer (you said you would get a monitor in the summer if you spend the money now) I would tbh get the monitor and new HDD now and then get zen 2 at the end of the summer when it's been out for a month or two and you have a good idea of what you'll gain from it :)
