Another stick of 2499 will do or a must for faster sticks??

I believe 2499 is a typo. or some new product I havent heard of

if you currently only have 1 stick ram and not willing to sell it, by any one more ram same / faster than current ram (it will be limited to lower ram speed anyway but you can then try to overclock it~~).

Dont worry to mix rams

Otherwise sell the ram and buy a pair 2x8gb 3000+mhz

Good day, I am planning to upgrade my pc! Any recommendations are welcome. Also, I need some help in building around my Vega 56 card.

Here are the specs.

Ryzen 5 1600x

Cooler Master Liquid lite 120

B350m Mortar Arctic

8Gb HyperX Ram 2400

Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 56

1 Seagate Barracuda

1 WD Blue

2 Kingston SSDs 500gb

Corsair 650w

Samsung Freesync Monitor 60hz

Thanks in advance!

looks good to me. if you really want to upgrade, get more ram, get a better cooler, get faster monitor. (do those in that order).

ram overclock perhaps, or new kit like vengeance LPX. First gen Ryzen was pretty sensitive to ram speed, DDR4 3000 does wonders for performance.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Good day, I bought a pair of 3000mhz 8gbx2 RAM Nighthawk. Now, the mobo manual told me to slot them on the 2nd and 4th slots but when I do that, it only reads a single stick when I boot it up. On the other hand, when i put the sticks side-by-side, they work. ?

in task manager, do you see ram "7.9 / 16" gb available?

try reset bios

When I do the 1st method, it only reads 8gb while on the 2nd one, side by side, it reads 16gb.
