Are the monoprice 8323 headphones good for gaming ?

I understand these headphones have good bass, with slightly recessed mids, but are mids or bass more important when gaming ?

in competitive gaming you generally want a more highs and mids rather than bass as the mids and high highlight footsteps . but if you wanna have fun bass is great as then you have louder explosions and and fun gunshots.

From what I hear it should be. If you want another good headphone for around the same price point look at the monoprice retro's that you can easily upgrade I'm the future by changing the pads making it sound better than it already is
