should do, it's 150mbps link speed IIRC each way... but also depends on the device you're using having a 150mbps module/chip. Have a look at your devices to see what they have.

just checked mine and it's 866Mhz link speed on my wifi.

I'd like to go back to this as in my experience N single-band means 2.4Ghz SISO, which means more than likely you're stuck with 20Mhz channel width which will only give a link speed of 150Mbit and real-world performance of 40Mbit if you're lucky.

 

You'd need N MIMO 2x2 to get 300Mbit link speed and even then 80Mbit is about the best real-world performance you can expect.  But again, I have two different routers and one can only do 30Mbit on 2.4Ghz while the other can do 80Mbit, despite identical settings and support.  Going for the cheapest hardware you are more likely to get the worst performance.

So in summary, I wouldn't touch single-band or even dual-band SISO (sometimes called 1x1 MIMO for some odd reason) hardware unless you REALLY don't care about speed at all.  I have so many just lying around the house because I had to swap them out due to poor performance.
