Ghosting on ASUS VG279Q

So I never had an IPS or a 144hz display before for starters. I decided that I wanted to test this monitor out in a bunch of different games. However, when I watch videos on youtube and in certain games where things move, it seems like their is a motion blur trail following the moving object. Is there something wrong?
