This used to happen to my old PC. It turned out my motherboard died when I tried to increase by bus clock too high. After I left it for a few hours, it worked normally, but if you hibernate it, it shows a black screen until you restart it

Another problem I have experienced is fake GPUs from eBay. They make them self identified as a GTX1080 but is really a GT730 so when Windows tries to install drivers, it crashes

Check the CPU and GPU temps. Maybe they are too high. Also check the excessive temperature shutdown settings in your BIOS.

Check in taskmgr and see at what load it crashes. If it always crashes at a specific load, try lowering the CPU clock

Most likely cause is GPU or RAM. Take out the GPU and run with integrated GPU to see if it still does it, if it does still do it, then do a memtest.

@ReckzoHD I have recently had the same problem when I tried to overclock my computor. Turns out the power supply wasn't capable of supplying enough power and the 12V rail was going down to 5V under load
