pc bbuild or laptop

so i havent been on the forums in a while due to my pc being broken by my foster brother,
 

now i have 2 choices either, get a gaming laptop which i could use for the portability with schoolwork and graphics and still be able to game

 

or build a gaming pc which isnt as portable but has more power which is what im stuck at a laptop with such power would be so useful but then an even more powerful pc would be amazing to, current pc parts list

i'd recommend just using your old laptop for school and build a gaming PC, then you get the best of both worlds.
