s7 edge screen on s7 transplant???

So to start off, I got a free s7 but the screen is cracked beyond use. With some testing, calling the number the phone will vibrate, and the phone makes noise when volume turned to max. So my I looked at replacement screens for it, GOD THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE. But I saw and s7 edge screen for half the price (digitizer and all) So my question is phonegeeks, If I get the s7 edge assembly, can I use an s7 screen on a normal Samsung s7???

Sadly no. The body is different with how the screen fits in it. because of the differences in the body design, that isn't possible.
