Acceptable amount of blacklight bleed for 34GK950F?

Shivers

I recently purchased a LG 34GK950F and was curious as to others experience with the BLB on the panel as the BLB on mine has consistently bothered me and I'm considering RMA'ing to try to get a better panel. I know that some amount of BLB is going to be a given with any IPS screen but I'm curious to see whether others have had better luck and any opinions on whether its worth RMA'ing. Both photos are taken at 20 brightness with the second one being at the distance that I normally sit at the first being about 1.5-2m away

Problem is you have chosen a curved IPS display, ur going to see IPS glow in the corners like this no matter how many times you RMA.

The reason it gets worse as u sit further away is that the curve likely has the sweet spot for viewing at a closer distance than what ur sitting at.

Its the opposite with flat panels, where the closer u are the worse it gets whilst the further way u are the better it gets.

IPS glow and BLB are different btw, though its understandable to get them mixed up, they can appear very similar.

In this case this is classic IPS glow, there ofc could also be some underlying BLB , but this is certainly IPS glow.

If u cant stand this kind of issue i highly suggest you avoid IPS displays.
