Update: was able to flash stock rom and recovery via TWRP but got google play device certification error( not certified )

Nope, I ended up settling on Xiaomi.eu Rom since I find that the stock rom is missing some features that I was used to before unlocking the phone 

 

would be be good to know how to restore( to stock )and lock the bootloader
