RX 590 at 229€

Hi, I saw that there's an offer now for the rx 590 at 229€ plus 3 games. I would like to build a PC right now to play 1080/60fps and upgrade the system in a year or two cause the PC I have is really old. Is that card worth it? If it is, could you suggest a whole build?

Is it possible to spend around 1000€ for 1080/60fps including also a monitor?

I'm from Spain and I don't need a Windows license, if that helps.

I would probably skimp on the SSD and get a 120 GB one instead and upgrade to a RTX 2060 and a better PSU, for that budget.

Hi I bought the RX 590 this noon :( I hope it's okay. 

Thanks for the suggestions, for monitors do I have to look for something, I've seen Freesync v-sync, something concrete, cause I don't know anything.

Also with power supply is 550W enough or too tight? Is there's much of a difference between bronze and gold certified?

I would purchase a Freesync 144Hz 1080p monitor, like this one: https://www.amazon.es/MSI-Optix-G24C-frecuencia-Anti-Glare/dp/B077GXM4T8/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=144hz+1080p&qid=1553274793&s=gateway&sr=8-5. The 550W is perfect for the 590, I would get the more expensive PSU with Gold certification as your system may be reach it power limit, I would estimate the system to run about 350-450W during load which would be problem as 80+ Bronze PSUs are only rated for 82% efficiency. Also, never skimp on the power supply, it powers your entire system, the CX series has a very bad reputation.

I'm sorry, you're a bit out of date on this info.

 

Efficiency is not like that. The max, let's say 500W PSU, is what it can draw. However if you draw the full 500W, with Bronze, that's only 82% of the power you draw from the wall.

 

Also, you're thinking of the old CX. there's a new CX, which has been our since 2015, that's actually quite nice.

Thanks for correcting me, PSUs aren't my strong point. I see, back when I was a system builder CX PSUs were frowned upon. I would still purchase a bit better power supply, in case OP plans to upgrade further down the road.
