Can A i9-9900K Handle 2080 Ti in SLi Configuration?

What I don't understand is...

Why not overclock your card? If it runs only at 1755 MHz at load, you should be able to get a bump in FPS simply by pushing frequencies bit more.

Total war even had an announcement how TSAA would prevent adding SLI-Crossfire support... if this trend will follow...
( clueless about the impact sli can have on design or other graphic hungry programs )

These posts are always funny to me to read. (If not depressing.)

It's crazy to think that the top of the line consumer gear is barely able to pull off the games currently available in the uber settings modes.

Granted I've got a $750 build at 1080p...

I don't really want to risk crashes.

If SLi is a quick way to get 25-50% more frames then its worth it to me.

You have about the same risk of crashing with SLI

Whenever I’ve bumped up my CPU a few MHz or my GPU - it becomes very unstable.

That’s why I have a factory overclock of 1755 on my Ti and it works well with no issues whatsoever.
