overclock temps

im getting upto 70 digress when playing games at 4.8ghz at 1.240 volts is this bad

It's certainly not dangerous. What CPU do you have?

Can you run a AIDA64 stress test (on your CPU, FPU, and cache) and tell me your temperature after running it for ~10 minutes. Also, what CPU cooler do you have?

can't find the temps for the FPU and cache but the cpu temp max temp it goes to is 85 average seems to be 83

cpu doesn't thermal throttle until 100C 80C +/- a few is generally regarded as safe temps

Seems fine. Although, I wouldn't overclock higher.
