Cable Managing my Sit/Stand Desk

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

I'm mostly interested in getting feedback on how to improve the cable management. I currently still need to install my headphone amp and I need to figure out what to do with the headphone cables

Current state of the desk:

My computer specs aren't even all that great, but I enjoy trying to cable manage my setup, making it look cleaner or neater when I have the chance. Certain choices I made with with lighting in mind over performance, like replacing the fans on my heatsink with RGB ones, but there doesn't seem to be an issue with cooling or sound anyway. This is more of a journey about cable management for me personally

Quick Rundown:

EVGA 750 G2

AMD R5 2600

32gb DDR4 3000mhz RGB Ram

Deepcool Gammaxx
ASUS Rog Strix-F

250 gb 970 EVO m2

250 gb 840 EVO SSD

1 TB 860 EVO SSD

MSI 1660 TI

Corsair Lighting Node Pro running 5 fans and 3 LED strips

I have a light overclock on the processor, but I haven't messed around with it as much as I wanted. I have the RAM overclocked to 3000 mhz

The initial mess of moving stuff around my bedroom. Also my PC was still running a 4th generation intel at this point

Assembling the table.

Desk upright for the first time

Initial sloppy setup. I didn't have a plan for all thick audio cables, which can be seen bundled on the left

More mess. The Jarvis branded J channel simply isn't big enough to hold a power strip with everything plugged into it, it just looks sloppy

More mess. The mess of cables to the left is pretty bad
