What kind of ping are you getting?  (You can see this via fortnite's "Show FPS" setting)

Define 'lag' as in what are you truly experiencing? is this a new build? have you swap hardware recently? what is the full specs?

You gotta give us the most information possible to help you troubleshoot or we can't do anything.

Could this maybe be due to your internet connection?

Is it delay on the network or delay from when you move your mouse to when the screen moves?

Check your input lag, this happened to me also. Turns out my input lag was bad, since resolving that games are butter smooth. In my case it'd spike to like 60ms and wasn't uncommon to be stuck at around 20-30ms which was noticeable (+ you have the normal netcode latency etc so it does add up), only rebooting would fix it.

I have a good ping. In fortnite i'm at 20 ms. I have two monitor and when i put the priority on my second monitor and play on my first it do not lag but when i give the priority to my 144hz and play on this screen its lagging. Its seem like to play on 30hz but im 144hz 144fps constantly. Sorry for my bad english!!

Hey, I know im late but how can i check input lag? I have 20 ping in game but every time my game drops fps for a second, my input lag increases, i have talked with numerous technicians and spent 2 years learning about optimizations and still nothing. so how can i check how big is my input lag and how can i get rid of it? thank you in advance
