[OLD] PSU Tier List 3.0 (Legacy)

Recommended Posts

13 hours ago, Ary said:

Hello everyone, in the Tier D list(just don't buy...), if you have one of them is not recommend to use it? or not recommend to buy one of them right now in 2019?, I have an Antec VP500P it's good enough for a r5 1600+rx570?, Thanks

I'd change it, RX570 can pull 170-180W under Furmark, system power 9 400 and xilence performance a+ 430 are cheapest units i'd recommend, but def get something like pure power 11 400 if you got the budget

so, Seasonic Ultra Titanium above 750W is an A-grade PSU? well that's mind blowing

doesn't meet multi-rail for a+ and higher, so it makes sense

Not sure if it's the old RM (I think 2012 model?) or the new ones, that's why I'm asking

Yeah the old models (RMx) seem to be mixed between A+ and A but the new models I believe are included as the RM listing in A tier

There are Aris reviews for all three of the new RM power supplies, so go ahead and read them to know how good they are. There's no need for any theorizing based on specifications or feelings, we've got the real thing tested there!

A bit hard to tell, without knowing how long you've had your PSU, what you're powering, and what the prices are, don't you think?
