Testing gpu memory

ChrisZH

I was wondering if there is some program designed to test integrity of gpu memory for errors that might not be seen in a normal stress test like heaven or superposition? Im really trying to figure out if my Radeon VII is faulty..

Normal gaming I suppose, you'll know if you have faulty VRAM.

I just have the strange events happening with it. Hard crashes in games some times that cause me to do a reset. Sometimes the main display with flash with these small black lines when im on the desktop or browsing. Have not had any artifacting in games. It passes heaven and superposition just fine. Ran heaven for 4-5 hours and no problems that i saw. Im just confused, any ideas or help?

Have you tried a different output cable?

Im running a multi display, ive cut the secondary monitor off and unplugged, issue was still there. I switched from my 144hz monitor to the other one and still happened. Im using a 750w power supply, could it not be enough?

To run that multi-display set up, are you using software?

Don't know then. One thing I can tell you though is that the card is fine, it's either a driver issue or the set-up itself is glitching out.

The only other thing I suggest you do is reinstall Windows on a single screen then when it's complete hook it back up to the multi-display set-up, sometimes this is the best way to fix issues.

Do you think 750watt is too low of a power supply?
