This is likely an issue you're not going to fix by undervolting. The GPU is on its way out.

If you got artifacts at idle clocks, you got a hardware issue. No amount of undervolting is going to help that.

yeah i thought so, I opened a dispute with the seller yesterday hopefully i can get my money back.

Just out of curiosity can you post which BIOS version this GPU claims to have installed?.  (GPU-Z shows this info right after opening it).

I had some clients that brought missbehaving GPUs and they had BIOSes that were not supposed to have (I assumed they were flashed into a bios to mine or some sort and then were reverted to whatever bios they googled without matching the proper vendor BIOS).

 

Just to be clear, i do believe this has no repair. Just curious to see if it matches my client's issues.
