Used reference Vega 56 or new gtx 1660

So i was looking graphic cards listing for my first pc and i found used reference vega 56. Both cards are similarly priced, the vega one are a bit cheaper. Should i get used vega or new gtx 1660? And what psu should i pair with it? Im thinking about pairing it with seasonic focus plus gold 650w

The Vega 56 is faster, but the 1660 comes with a warranty. Your call. V56 draws 210W, 1660 120W. A good 650W PSU, and that one is good, should be more than capable for either.

550 is enough.

Friend ran 3 v56 on a single 850w psu, with a oc at stock voltage.

 

if you are playing 1080p, 1660. 1440p+ I'd get a used 1070 ti. You can get nice ones for 250$.

It's more of a matter of you having appropriated PSU for the V56 and being okay with the high temperatures and very loud noise.

So 550w is enough for 56? I'm worried about 56 tripping ocp on 550w version.

 

I couldn't find any good deals for 1070ti in my area.

450 is prob enough, 550 is more than enough.

The only vega that will trip OCP is prob vega LC.

Vega 56 all day every day. It's like 20% faster. It sits between 1660ti and 2060. It's a lot faster than 1660. And yeah 550 watts is enough if it's a high quality PSU
