Displayport to HDMI no display.

I recently bought and installed the MSI GeForce RTX 2060 GAMING Z 6G which has 1x hdmi and 3xDisplayports. The monitors which I'm using only have HDMI so I bought a DisplayPort to HDMI connector, although there isn't any display going out to the Displayport to HDMI monitor, but it is being detected. Any suggestions. I have updated the drivers.

On your functioning monitor, right click desktop and go into NVidia Control Panel. (If you cant find NVidia Control panel then the driver isnt installed)

 

Move over to the display option in the sidebar and select "set up multiple displays"

Select the checkbox for displays.Should work now
